“When I wrote about this dish for the Councl of Eaters, I couldn't think of an adjective strong enough to express how wonderful I thought it was, and I wrote stupendous, but superb would also have conveyed my appreciation for this dish which I later thought ight have sounded (unintentionally) pretentious!
I gave the dish a high score and lavish praise for many reasons: both the chicken and the lasary seemed perfectly cooked by the time suggested for cooking which I found rather miraculous given that they are such different consitencies, the coconut "crackling" over the chicken added the perfect degree of "crunch" and the serving was super-generous. Definitely a hit with us!”
“Lilia, its like being at your market stall except without your lovely presence!! The quantity is just right and the flavours of your magic come out and really pack a punch! I actually defrosted this one and heated it up on the pan to make sure I got the full experience! I made sure to cook the coconut chicken just a little bit more, just how you do it, to get that slightly crispy crunchy effect. I can't believe I can have your food anywhere in the UK now - you have smashed it girl!”
