Chicken and Pork Pierogi Reviews

3.7 Rating 13 Reviews
Had these as part of a dim sum meal last night. we had ordered some chilled and they were all stuck together and in trying to separate them they were beginning to disintegrate. So, used scissors to separate them and then steamed them with the rest of the dim sum for 20 minutes. They came out really well and very tasty. Would definitely have them again, but would strongly suggest that they are only sent in a frozen form.

Despite the much-appreciated advice from others in the group, I didn’t manage to salvage my meat pierogies. the delicate dough surround the stuffing had became like incredibly sticky play dough from the defrosting process, so I abandoned the instructions to boil them, gave them a quick flash fry (perhaps using too harsh a flame) and tried to create a makeshift steamer, but results were not up to those achieved by others in the group. I’ve put my two other packs of the potato and sauerkraut ones into the freezer & will have another go tonight, cooking from frozen.

Tasted amazing, especially with the onion relish side it came with. Preparation was a bit messy as the pierogi were stuck together and disintegrated a bit while I was trying to get them into the pan. But flavor was top notch.

The preparation process was super easy. The dill in the onion compote was incredible. The combined flavours were very nice. The portion size was good. This is something I would recommend others try as well.
