“This was a very tasty dish with the right blend of spices.
My one slight disappointment was the portion size. Loads of rice but a small amount of the beef spread very thinly over it.”
“Was much too hot! The chilli and sambal had been included in the dish, but to one side. I fished it all out as best I could, but some must have remained, as it was just too hot for me and I ended up leaving most of it. It would be better if the chilli & sambal were put in a separate pot.
Also, there was little beef compared to the amount of rice. It bore little comparison to the beef rendang I used to enjoy in Malaysia.”
