“All top quality, beautiful piece to add to decor. I have a rustic modern theme and this blends in perfect. But it is just hanging around as of now, not sure how it is intended to be mounted to the wall. The barrel slat has a curve obviously, and my first instinct is to custom fit a piece of oak to fill that void to get a flush mount. Which leads to the next challenge of drilling through the barrel slat. There are no pre-drilled mounting holes, so although its really authentic looking, it needs to be drilled into to mount. If you hang this on a hook, you cannot use it as it is intended.”
