“I actually thought the first glass I saw at a Goodwill store was a small vase but then I saw the other and I decided they were shot sippers. I don’t take shots but I will sip them! It was just tonight I looked up shot sippers and found they were intended for port. They do nicely for any dessert liqueur, I really enjoy them! They look like chubby little creatures to me and it brings a smile!”
“Very very small but pretty cool addition. Got them as a part of a Valentine's day gift, after an initial laugh at the size, they have been pretty fun to use.”
“A friend of ours offered us a brandy after dinner, and served it in these glasses. I've been hooked on them ever since, but they had been a gift to her, and didn't know where to get them, nor what they were called. It took me over a year to track them down. Fortunately, I found them at Homewetbar.com. Absolutely the best service I've ever had on the Web.
The glasses themselves are quite delicate, so treat them with care. For myself, I liked them because they enhanced the experience of drinking. Very meditative and yet very direct.
I would add they do have a certain exotic appeal since they aren't commonly found, but it's still the utility and pleasure factor for which I recommend them.”
“Use port sippers for any alcoholic beverage that you want to warm by hand and sip. The glasses are thin and fairly delicate by design. Rinse thoroughly with warm water after use as the stem is small and too thin to brush clean.”
