Loved the large size. I mainly use it in my tea. I have been using Tupelo honey for probably around 30 years. It's not always so easy to find. Most vendors at flea markets won't carry it because it is more expensive than the other honeys that are out there. I find it hard to even refer to the stuff in the supermarkets as honey. Compared to Tupelo it's more like sugar water. I'm so glad Amazon is carrying this brand. It's the best that I've had in a long while. My son actually got it for me for Christmas and I'm hoping that it'll be an every year gift.

Buyer beware. Seller's description says that this honey crystallizes. True 100% pure tupelo honey does not crystallize. Look it up. Pure tupelo has very distinct characteristics that set is apart from other honeys and one of them is that it never crystallizes. Also notice how dark this tupelo is.The issue with this type of tupelo honey is that black gum tupelo honey is from the black tupelo gum tree, not the white tupelo flower. As such, it doesn't contain the same wonderful properties of pure tupelo honey, which comes from the white tupelo flower. Such as, this black gum tupelo honey crystallizes where pure tupelo honey does not. It's taste is different including tasting less sweet then raw tupelo honey. It's most common use is in baking.
