“Recently purchased a new caravan which I have fitted a dual sediment and carbon/silver filter to the water system. The drinking water hose supplying the filter is fitted out with Hoselink fittings to ensure no more leakage and blow-off issues at caravan parks. The removable filter fitted to the draw bar when on site is also fitted with Hoselink fittings to allow easy and simple assembly. When disconnecting to travel the short hose between the filter assy and the inlet to the van simply loops around to click into the filter inlet to ensure the filter remains completely enclosed and isolated to the atmosphere as specified by the filter supplier to ensure no ingress of bacteria. Other caravanners who have observed the drinking water hose and filter setup fitted with Hoselink fittings have gone off to duplicate this simple but very practical system.”
