Replacement Lever for Hose Connector with Flow Control Warm Grey Reviews

4.7 Rating 685 Reviews
50 cents replacement was OK, but it should have been made right first time. Pressed, real, correct grade stainless steel (some Chinese SS actually rusts) would be good, cast SS would be superb, die cast would be crap because it will crack if whacked, eg from dropping the. hose from a height, or run over by a car. Maybe just send the CAD file to someone with a 3D printer for printing in titanium alloy, which would be extremely cool.It was however a brilliant loss leader - I got sucked in by the >$50 discount and bought >$49.50 worth of extra stuff!

Hi David, thank you for your review and feedback. This has been brought to our attention before and is definitely something we are considering. We would need to completely redesign the internal workings of the flow control at the same time. Having the lever be metal and then the ball valve inside plastic could cause some issues down the track! Leave it with us, we will see what we can do! Kind regards, The Hoselink Team

I was very shocked that your product was constructed of such low grade plastic in the first place. I was annoyed that I had to buy spare parts for something and pay pretty big shipping costs for it. I would not really recommend your or buy your products again. bit disappointed.

Found it difficult to change due to the internal white plastic ball shut off and on for water flow not working properly. When I fitted new lever the plastic ball valve would not stop the flow of water. When I slotted it back into the housing the slide guides had to be in line both sides of the ball valve. When I operated the hose to stop the water from flowing it would not shut off the water again. I Dismantle again with no result again after many attempts to make it work. I eventually had to have the ball valve fitted first in the housing so as I had to turn the ball valve with a screw driver through the centre of ball valve bit by bit with the side pins in the guide side slots and gradually turn ball up side down so as the ball would not fall out. Then connected the hose fitting then tightened the side screws on the lever. The lever works now on and off. There was no instructions with the levers I am mechanically minded if it was the average person god knows how they would fit this. Also the two side screws that screw into the plastic sides one of the side screws has worn out threaded the side as the screw just keeps turning due to the many attempts undoing and to set the internal ball valve.

Sadly once I replaced this the white ball inside would close properly but I don't think it has anything to do with the lever
