“The flow controls is a really good idea, unfortunately it has its problems number 1 is it doesn’t fully open the aperture to let 100 present flow happen. Number 2 is I suspect the yellow one that I had originally was not UV safe and that it broke because it got brittle over time. Hopefully the new ones will not have the same UV problem, perhaps a slightly longer and more robust lever would help.”
“I’m a Hoselink newbie. I met and photographed the inventor for a magazine back in the 1990’s. I should have made the switch back then. Most gardeners have high environmental consciousness and will be acutely aware of aspects that are not friendly to the planet. The packaging of my two 30m hoses and a swag of accessories were seriously over-wrapped in shrink plastic. Completely unnecessary and enough to make me genuinely doubt further purchases.
