“I live on the coast in Central Queensland so the problem I experience with this particular item may not have an economical fix. I find the control levers only last about 6-9 mths if left in direct sunlight. The perish and snap (a check of my orders will show the number I have ordered over the last few years}. A possible fix might be to construct the lever from metal or alloy.”
“What a great ideal, purchased a 30m hose reel and it came fitted with one of these.I have since retro fitted these to all of our hoses.No more getting soaked changing nozzles with the hose turned on.”
“This flow control is excellent for normal garden use and trigger nozzle application. Im using the hi flo hose real as i found out the normal hose reals dont give enough pressure off the mains that i would like and restricts pressure. I use the flo control to wash the ute but i have found that when attached to a karcher pressure washer it doesnt seem to get the pressure it should from a cheap nasty fitting or hose from bunnings. So i have to opt for using a cheap crappy short length of hose and crap fittings from bunnings that dont reatrict water mains pressure. If you could make this flo control bigger internally to get more volume or pressure through it would be perfect! Im sock of water dripping and hose ends blowing off when using the pressure washer.”
