“The hose connector is very useful however the flow control even though it’s cheap to replace breaks to easily and ends up being landfill, maybe if it was made out of metal it would last longer. Overall I love Hoselink.”
“You promise a lot but don’t deliver. Granddad got his present on TV but I had to buy an extra gift for my Granddad because I had no confidence his present would arrive I ordered early before any warnings on your site about possible delays. No tracking updates were provided but the order arrived on 24 Dec. You might consider this a success, but I don’t! A good product but lousy logistics support!”
“This connector is poorly designed. The yellow on/off switch is fragile an snaps off eventually. The inner part does not move smoothly and sticks making it hard to turn the switch; hence it eventually fails. The yellow bit joins the axle in a poorly designed connection such that the generally rectangular end of the axle does not fit properly with the yellow switch. It has too much clearance and eventually elongates such that the handle has too much clearance and becomes useless. It needs to be resdesigned perhaps using aluminium parts to eliminate the clearance issues. Overall, the part is really not needed so save your money.”
“These flow control fittings are a fantastic invention and I have no idea why no-one else is doing them. I have them on all my hoses (that's 4 at our place). There is one significant downside to them though. At some point in their life, and sooner than you would think, the connection between the lever and the main body of the fitting will fail, that side of the lever will pop out, and a jet of water will spray at you out the hole (see pic if the upload works..). That's happened to me three times now (the latest this morning, hence me being here to write this!). I would be very grateful if Hoselink would address this issue as I love what this product does but the execution sucks a bit, just like being sprayed with a jet of cold water first thing in the morning...”
