“Actually not so good. It was for my mother in laws hose. The small plastic securing ring inside the unit was too big for the hose she had. So after I left my mother in law, the unit failed.So I solved the problem by using the old units securing ring. When I ordered the unit, I was not asked about the hose size. I like suggest you include a few different sized rings.”

It appears you purchased the 14mm connection which is only suitable for the Hi Flow Retractable Hose Reel as per the description online. Therefore, the reason the split ring would be too large and not suitable for her. All standard hoses are 12mm and come with the appropriate sized split ring. “this is a replacement for a previous one. the yellow on/off lever broke at the screw point, and although still operational, it was hard to close/ open. great product. I am very pleased with Hoselink. My replacement packet arrived via AusPost minus the contents! The recyclable plastic bag tore open in transit and contents were lost. “In case of quality and easy working and replacing it is the best. However my previous one just broken out of the blue and escape of water happened. If you change the control system or improve it this never happens. My previous connector's Flow Control (yellow handle) was dislodged from one side. It was not wear and tear as it was not used a lot. Thanks.”
