“I am enjoying my Hoselink reel very much and I appreciate your interest in feedback from the users. The connector is an essential item when linking sprinklers or spray guns to the hoses. My comments on the design might be useful for the future: 1. The connector has a very flat surface and is not shielded in any way so when is not attached to an accessory it very easily becomes clogged with bits of vegetation or soil . This makes it impossible to connect the next accessory without painstaking cleaning of the grooves in the connector. 2. Because of the exposed nature of the end of the connector it is very easy for the small black o-ring washer to fall off. This happened to my hose within the first month of operation. Perhaps this could be improved with a small alteration of the part. 3. The Hoselink connectors are difficult to connect to each other other than in full daylight and in an open situation. With a hose in vegetation or in the shade or the dark it is very difficult to match up the two pieces that need to be connected. Even in full view the white markings on each piece are not prominent. A fluoro marking with prominent identifiable ridges would help the user enormously.”
