“I don't understand all the positive reviews, maybe they are fake, but I bought two of the click-on adapter sets and they both leak (or should I say gush water) like crazy. I e-mailed Hoselink and they were kind enough to send me some replacements at no cost, however the replacements also have exactly the same problem. The leaks happen with ALL accessories that I connect to, such as irrigation plugs, sprayers, sprinklers and Seasol bottles, so it must be a manufacturing or design defect with the Hoselink click-on adapters. I have no such problems with my traditional Gardena orange click-on sockets. The only solution I see is to chop the Hoselink connector off the reel and replace it with a traditional orange click-on, or make my own adapter (i.e. buy a short length of hose and a Hoselink connector to attach to one end of the hose, and a traditional orange click-on on the other end). I guess this is the pitfall of relying on a system with proprietary connectors.”
