Spray Gun Spare Parts Repair Set Reviews

4.7 Rating 655 Reviews
My recent purchase of the spray gun rebuild kit went well.Kit turned up via the post free of charge for shipping in a prompt fashion. The subsequent rebuild took place in my preferred place to dwell The Man caveOnce the instructions were briefly inspected and all parts located in the very well set out repair pack, the instructions were then stored safely away in the man cave instruction storage facility aka the bin.Repairs then commenced, after liberally applying my preferred shed scent to set the mood WD40 to the spray gun I set to work on the tear down process.Easy as can be expected of a quality product like Hoselink. The failed components were then located, it would appear after at least 6 years of service and many thousands of cycles of use in that time that the O-rings on the spindle / plunger had in deed failed to seal at this point. After locating the wet and dry I set to work removing the calcium and corrosion build up in the spindle recess and then cleaned out with a miniature bottle brush and flushed out any residual contaminants with a second liberal administration of WD40. After enjoying the serenity and sanctity of the man cave for a little longer I then returned to the task at hand.Applied the very handy and adequate supply of O-ring lubrication as supplied in the repair pack and using a soft faced hammer deftly tapped the new spindle home, replaced all the other parts as supplied, reattached to the hose and test fired the spray gun. I basked in success of the repairs and admired the quality of the the equipment I am lucky enough to be using.Thankyou Hoselink for the well priced repair kit and the reason to have some much need shed time. I appreciate it.Kind regards.MH.

Overall, the experience was good, I do, however wish to point out that screw thread of the cap supplied with the new kit is a coarser thread than that of the spray gun I was repairing. Had I have tried to force the new cap on, a crossed or stripped thread may have resulted. Perhaps a cautionary note could be sent with the repair kits

Had a slight issue getting the new plunger in then inserting the spring and screwing in the brass lock nut.Water started escaping from the sides of the lock nut. Tried a few times to undo and secure the nut but the problem persisted. Eventually replaced the new lock nut with the old one and tightened well. Now its sort of operable but i am not really confident that it will last. Will have to consider a new gun soon.

The equipment has always been great., I find the spray gun to be more powerful than other brands, and your service excellent.

We found your website slightly difficult to navigate, really needs to be reviewed and revised

I had a lot of trouble fitting the new part with the O rings into the unit. Perhaps if the entrance to the cylinder was chamfered slightly the O rings would have entered a lot easier. Thanks for including the lubricant, saved me hunting for mine.
