“Fail. The bore of the plunger is very slightly too large. It initially was sticking so that the spray gun was slow to close. Now it won’t shut off at all.I’ll try to roll some wet and dry paper to ensure that the bore is clean but it’s proving to be painful.I compared the old plunger and they both fit in a 7mm hole so it’s a matter of thousands of an inch.Unfortunately I’ve already thrown out the old plunger so I can’t even try swapping over the o rings.”
“Sadly my experience with this product is poor.When I replaced the plunger it was extremely hard to seat plunger even with copious quantities of supplied lubricant.The started leaking from the trigger plunger after one use.When I removed the plunger the O rings appeared to be cut in half as if they were way too big to fit in the hole.having a tapered entrance to the hole may have helped.”
“Your kit parts fit the POPE top of the line trigger operated spray gun. The supplied piston small O rings were too tight but were replaced with the suitable O rings purchased from the local bearing and seals outlet.The result is the Pope trigger spray gun stray now can be used without any leaks what so ever.The supplied metal piston is size for size for the pope example.No offense meant to you but I prefer to repair the all metal gun as plastics do not fare well long term here in the NTH Queensland environment.Than you for the good service.I will be looking to purchase some LED lights in the near future but need to consider if there is plastic or not in the LED lights.ThanksGrahame Collins”
