Hi Darren, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate the feedback. We have received quite a few comments regarding the colour of the post and we are working on getting this altered with our supplier to match the hose reels. You will find that the post does have a plastic insert in the top to ensure the hose reel slots into place easy and this would not be something you could find at your local hardware store, this would need to be specially made to suit. Otherwise you would find that the hose reel pole would not fit correctly and could cause the unit to droop if it is not secured tightly within the post.
