“I have been slack in not thanking you for your prompt replacement, 4 days from phone call to delivery brilliant. A small change in design of internal hose connection to the reel would solve the problem, or a saddle fixing the hose to the drum would stop it pulling on the connector, also the lever on the ball valve is susceptible to sun deterioration one side of it bleached and fell apart, maybe black instead of yellow would help or metal?”
“the product is so far 1st. class, everything was supplied to install the product to the wall and on operation everything was 99% as I had a very small leak at the tap end of the hose (retired engineer) on investigation of the leak I found that the nylon/plastic/polypenco olive on the pipe which was compressed but had a 3mm gap in the split olive and therefore not compressing the full 360* , inspecting the pistol end of the hose the same type olive was only showing a split olive of approx. 1-1.5mm and was not leaking. I removed the offending olive and reinserted it 180* and this crimped the piece of hose that was allowing the leak and all is now ok. Very pleased with everything including the pistol which seems top class.”
