“My wife had been at me for years to get a Hoselink auto rewind reel with all of the timings. But oh no being the man of the house I much preferred to have kinks in the hose, a hand wind hose reel that never rewound smoothly, plenty of water pressure blow-offs sending water everywhere and complain out loud every time all these things happened. Well finally my wife said it is my birthday coming up and what I really want is a Hoselink reel and being the dutiful husband I indulged her although I am sure a great part of her aim was to stop me complaining about the lousy old hose and reel we had! . How great has it all turned out to be though. Wonderful product - almost worth paying excess water bills just for the fun of using it. There is no doubt that this husband finally got smart by listening to his even smarter wife and there is no doubt that this is the best garden product ever. Now whilst that is all true in all seriousness my wife primarily wanted the hose reel because she has a terminal illness that has restricted her mobility and she hoped that the hose reel would allow her to get out and enjoy watering the garden sometimes. It has and we are both so grateful for that. It has been a bonus for her that the complaining has stopped but she now has stiff competition as to who gets to water the garden with the Hoselink!”
