“When I had the old hose, I approached the Council about my very low water pressure, I was only getting enough to fill a teacup in a minute, and with my finger over the end it was hard to get the spray to go more than a few feet. The Council workers, after testing it, told me that the problem was old pipes on their side of the meter, but that they couldn't fix it immediately, because all their machinery was out of town on other jobs. Then I had installed my new hoselink outfit. The difference was amazing. With only a small pressure, the hoselink setup seemed to produce adequate water and pressure for me to keep alive my front garden through all that hot weather we had, over more than a month. At first I found that it was heavy work pulling out the hose (I will be 70 in June), but I soon got used to it and worked out ways to easily manage it to water the whole garden in half an hour. It has been a godsend, and well worth the money I paid. I am still waiting for the Council to fix the pressure problem.”
