I can pull the hose out with ease and it locks every time you stop pulling, unlike the other brands I have used which require some acrobatics with the hose in order to get them to lock. the unlock/rewind function works just as easily. I am very impressed with this product and highly recommend it. “I became aware of HoseLink because a neighbour had one. But it took me 12 months to research and finally buy one! It's so great not having kinks. I love that the hose is tidy and out of sight. I also love the nozzle - the variety of settings and the fact it just works so well. My one concern was the strength I would need to pull the hose all the way out. It's not a problem for me, but there IS tension you need to overcome so the hose will retract. Yes, it's not cheap, but one thing I've learnt in my life is: you get what you pay for!
