“This was bought to replace our other one which gave up after about 15 years. The quality of this new one feels lower and a bit flimsy as it is made of lighter, thinner plastic than the previous one, and the hand piece is also made of lightweight plastic instead of the heavy duty plastic with metal fittings that made up the old one. It is working fine and doing the job, but I wonder if it will last another 15 years? Only time will tell.”
“Until I purchased the Hoselink Retractable Hose it was a pain having to unroll the old hose (Hoselink by the way) hanging on a hose holder & running it either to the back or front to do the sprinkling. Now I just pull it off the roll & connect the extra hose to the end when I need to extend it. Of course the convenience works in reverse as well by winding itself up. I too have a frog problem of sorts when the Emerald Spotted Tree Frog decides it will live in the hose holder but I've fixed that by velcroing shadecloth to the opening when not in use. So happy I made the purchase.”
