“Quick delivery, good price , however I think that there could be a choice of two different grade of materials need a heavy duty material for the harsh outback sun. I certainly would not mind paying extra for a longer lasting product.”
“The product looks good and is quite easy to fit but the material is quite thin and seems cheap. I was expecting a more durable material seeing as it’s an Australian based company and the sun here just destroys everything. Also when received the stitching for the velcro had come undone but I just simply re-stitched the velcro back on saving me the hassle of sending it back and getting a new one sent. All in all I’m a little disappointed and if in direct sunlight I don’t see this lasting anymore then a year or two but I guess we will wait and see.”
Hi Josh Thanks for the feedback on the covers. Sorry to hear that the cover arrived faulty, I will be sending a replacement out in which you can keep as a spare moving forward. In terms of durability the covers have a 12 month warranty. They will likely last 2-3 years before having to be replaced due to the harsh Australian conditions. The sole purpose is to protect the Hose reel casing. We are currently testing other materials for the covers but we have found during testing there is much out there in terms of material that will not break down over time in the Australian sun but the products team is working hard to find a solution. “Unfortunately, the grey cover purchased to replace the last one that lasted for approximately Ten Years, had a faulty Zip. The service again from Hoselink, was excellent, we were told to keep the faulty cover and it would be replaced immediately at no cost and even changed the colour.Friends of ours have had a.similar situation with them ordering the wrong size and having the correct size replaced without further cost.The highest of gratitude to Hoselink from both families for excellent service.Rick Stevens”
