“Hello, The auto reel was purchased for my mother, who at 84, has a genuine appreciation of the simple things in life. She had been experiencing 'exploding hose-fitting syndrome' which was driving us both mad. Having been through several new hoses, (retractable or otherwise) and competent tradesmen (to install them) our neighbour referred us to HOSELINK. I tentatively purchased the hose fittings first, and then the reel. It functions as indicated in the sales spiel, and is user friendly for all ages. My Mother can now enjoy watering her garden instead of being watered herself. The reel comes with all required fittings, including the pivot stand. This has proven invaluable as the hose is subjected to less wear and tear on harsh surfaces. The unit can be removed from one location and (easily) transported to another. By purchasing a second pivot point, and as the reel is portable it saved me having to purchase another reel. It took me a couple of attempts to manoeuvre the unit off the pivot, which just made me appreciate the portability even more. The additional hose width is good as we do have low water pressure. When the hose has been used and then re-wound into the reel, it retains some water. I am still able to lift and relocate it because of the placement of the handles and shape of the unit. Overall, we are 'relieved' with the HOSELINK products as they just simply work.”

“For a long time watering my garden was a painstaking and frustrating chore. I'd turn on the tap and begin watering the garden and the bloody spray gun would pop off and I'd find myself drenched with gushing water! The hose would expand in the heat of the day and the connection pieces would fail. The end of the hose would have to be snipped off every time and so my hose length was getting shorter and shorter. Apart from that it would kink in different places and I'd have to whip the hose to release the kink Several hoses and new fittings later... my unhappy garden life suddenly changed! Hoselink to the rescue! What can I say? It's the greatest Aussie invention and the most reliable hose I've ever come across. The nozzle spray gun works like a charm and does what it's supposed to do as opposed to the cheapo items you find in the usual hardware stores, and the retractable hose is brilliant!
