“Purchased this reel as we have lower than average water pressure to the point of install. Really like the reel, size function and hose quality - all great, was very impressed. However the connection at the spray gun/s leaks. At the time i purchased there was a promotion for fathers day and i received a ned kelly starter kit so had 2 spray guns and hoselink connections...Both leaked. One had a clear manufacturing fault and leaked out of the box, the other one that is i use on the hose reel, never really locked into place when the connection was twisted together (and yes, it was impossible to twist it any more). the connection between the 2 hoselink points seemed floppy and it leaked. I've never had a brass connection pop or fail and i can guarantee it was not a pressure related issue or anything to do with a missing o ring. Both have promptly been replaced under warranty, but was a bad experience for an initial purchase, particularly when the price commands higher quality - it sure killed the buzz on the purchase for me. IF the replacement connections don't fail, then I will come back and update/change review.”

“Great service and fast delivery. The HiFlow hose is the one to get to keep the good pressure from your tap as the other brands lose pressure. So this is the only brand I have come across that has the larger hose so it minimises the pressure reduction”

“I avoided buying into Hoselink for years - I was skeptical of buying into a one-manufacturer system. But having invested in the Hi-Flow 25m reel I’m happy to eat humble pie - it is excellent. The retracting mechanism is smooth, the hose itself of great quality and the water pressure excellent (mains water) - far better than the pressure delivered by my previous non-Hoselink manual reel. The included Premium 7-Function Spray Gun is of obvious quality but I like the Long-reach Shower Spray Wand (not included) even more. It isn’t the cheapest retractable reel going around but having been subjected to cheap retractable reels at work, I can say first hand that you get what you pay for. Hoselink pricing is competitive with other premium offerings in the market but comes with vastly superior hose fittings. Overall, I feel like I’ve joined some kind of cult but I’m ok with that! I’m just enjoying watering the garden without any bloody leaks!!”
