“I’m very happy with the product.The only issue fitting the hose reel was that the 8 year old brick wall had already been fitted, prior to our being here, with two other hose devices. There were already 9 drill holes in the brick work. I was only able to reuse one of these necessitating drill close to other holes. The result is that all but 4 holes are hidden and the fitting seems firm. I understand that each manufacturer has their own fixing design and there is unlikely to be any standardisation. Hopefully in years to come when replacement is necessary the new Hoselink bracket fitting has the same hole positions. We have been using Hoselink hoses and attachments for years. That is why we chose to renew the existing hose reel fitted to our retirement unit with a Hoselink.”

“Have been, and will continue to use your products. That is the positive.Your 4 way brass adaptor, to put it bluntly no good.The on and off mechanism is not user friendly. The small on/off taps are difficult to use and getting your head around what is off and what is on is a pain as well, especially when your other half is trying to work them out. I have purchased at least two of them along with a 2 way. The two way has split open in the brass section. I have replaced them all with Holman 4 way adaptors from Bunnings. I cannot supply details of their life span because they are quite new, but they are much more easier to use and to understand what is on and what isn't. The other thing that is noticeable is the hose from the retractable reel that connects to the mains tap. It gets burnt from sun exposure and looks like it will become brittle in a short term. I have dealt with this by covering it with poly tube which I think will assist the life of this section. I am very happy with the connectors and everything else. Thought I would pass on my thoughts on the brass 4 & 2 way connectors. I will not be buying them again but will continue to purchase other irrigation. I do like the connectors and find them much better than the snap ons and joiners that I have previously used over many years.Cheers Col”
