Blaster Reviews

Being new to the Hoselink experience I was interested to give the Blaster a go! I wasn’t dissapointed. I was already very impressed with the quality of the 7 Function Spray Gun but found it a bit of a handful on occasions when in my workshop. Our ‘hobby farm’ has a 4WD tractor, ride on mower, and a polaris buggy and I like to give them a frequent hose down. The Blaster nailed it. Small, compact and handy with a powerful jet - custom built for the job. very happy!

I had one of these blasters for some time and found it didn't do what I expected, which was to save me getting out my Gerni type pressure cleaner for cleaning paving and such like. What I found recently though was it is great for wetting down large areas of leaf and bark litter under trees and bushes in the event of ember attack during bushfires. You can cover large areas horizontally and also wet the bark of trees to a considerable height. I carried one of the blasters with me around my 7 acre property as I prepared for an approaching bushfire and ember attack.. I have now ordered 4 more so I can have them on my hoses around the property. I would imagine they would be great for putting out spot fires because of the pressure of water. Luckily the RFS have got the fire controlled, although we still are not through it yet.

Very effective although it's on/off switch lever needs to be cast in stronger metal. I say thing because, it used regularly which included being dragged along ground and lawn each time it was re-coiled. This treatment which I did not think excessive, caused level frame to break. Needless to say that I've changed blaster handling with more care now. So all AOK now.

Love your hose reel and fittings, tough as and never leak. The hands have fallen apart but the new blaster looks tougher with a better lever. The last two wands have stripped the tread in the middle so that needs to be looked at. Cant wait to try out other stuff, like to see an old type tractor sprinkler that runs along the hose.

Would love to see the flow restricted more to increase pressure, not by the tap but by the diameter of the hole size to be a true blaster
