“Hi Hoselink, unfortunately I was very disappointed with the Hi Pressure Jet Nozzle. It only seems to eject a single stream of water similar to the “Jet” setting on my standard hose fitting with multiple settings.That fitting was part of the retractable hose combo and it is not advertised as a hose fitting with multiple settings, including a high pressure jet sprayer.The High pressure jet nozzle does not function as advertised, with no additional high pressure than your tap can allow. The water stream is too large and doesn’t allow for a finer pin point high pressure stream, as does the nozzle of a Karcher type fitting. When you adjust the nozzle to a finer spray there is very little pressure at all. I imagined from the advertised item in your booklet, that it would be a fitting with a very small opening that would direct a needle like stream of higher pressure, so as to replace my Karcher, for cleaning off stubborn stains, but it doesn’t. I tested it on my retaining wall and it wouldn’t even dislodge bird droppings. I understand it cannot be similar to a Karcher that’s powered by an electric pump but it fails to clean anything, so is a big disappointment and a waste of money.Your company may need to re-design this product to operate as it is advertised, as this borders on false advertisement. Don’t get me wrong, I am very pleased and satisfied with my two retractable hose combos that I have purchased recently but Unfortunately this makes me wary of purchasing any other accessories products in future. “This is no where near as good as the hand trigger brass nozzle hand adjustable jet spray that u could buy. The plastic push up switch broke on both the ones I bought at the shalft whitch turns the water on after a period of time”
“Have changed over to hoselink recently and purchased 25 metrehigh flow and 20 metre hosereels. Very happy with the quaulity products but the cheapo nozzle that came with 20 meter reel i thought was rubbish,so i ordered the better one ,suggest charges a few more dollars and include the better product.With the extra accessories i have got later i thought they are all quality items”
“I'm a big fan of Hoselink, so I'm disappointed to have to write a poor review of one of their newer products. Over the years I have bought a few of Hoselink's Blasters (ITEM: 5560). They work very well but eventually the lever seizes up and they have to go in the bin. Recently I was ordering a new 30m hose reel and noticed a newer product called a Brass High Pressure Jet Nozzle (ITEM: 5565). It doesn't have a lever to fail, it has a brass ring that you turn to shut off the water. I bought one of those expecting it to be better quality but after using it I've found that it isn't. Yes, it's mostly made of brass, but the device that adjusts the stream is just a rubber ring which is squeezed together by the brass ring. The stream it provides isn't as strong or uniform as the original Blaster, which is disappointing. Also, I reckon the rubber ring will perish over time and it will have to go in the bin as well. On positive note, the hose reel came with a brilliant product called a Flow Control (ITEM: 2423-WG). So I recommend buying the old Blaster and a Flow Control.”
