“Although this is a very light and easy to attach product I fi d that the on/off lever is very stiff and hard to use. Do not recommend with arthritic hands. Other Hoselink connections I have used are easier to turn on and off.”
“I brought this plastic sprayer because the metal hoselink sprayers didnt last a year beore some part of them failed. After buying three of them with out much luck i turned to the plastic one, hopefully ill get a bit longer than 12 months.”
“Yes it is very good & we have it on one of our hoses, however, for our main watering we can only use the normal sprayer as it hangs better from the handle, whereas, the Comfort 8 does not have a handle.”
“Good value sprayer. (Comfort 8-Pattern Flow Control Sprayer) The actuating thumb lever was too stiff when we first met, but I put some silicon spray on wiggled it about for a while and it's fine now. It's ok for older, arthritic hands too, so it's a lot better than the other offerings you'll find in Bunnings, which are always way too slippery and stiff in our experience. I bought this to supplement the original die-cast one which I am about to overhaul. We have been really happy with it, as it is so much lighter. One drawback I've found is that the Centre spray is different from other spray guns: it's a dispersed cone of fewer separate streams, like an anemic shower setting, rather than the concentrated and more powerful parallel centre setting we're used to. Dropped a star for that, as it limits it's utility for me. Jet and Full setting are identical, but good strong streams. Shower setting is where it's at though, and this gives a good soaking rain without disturbing the mulch or scaring the chickens. I stepped on it today and displaced the rubber ring, but it seems to have gone back ok.”
