Ordered, paid for, and received by mail (Invoice HL 1381202, Fully Paid, of 12 September).Item was dysfunctional on receipt; phoned Hoselink and was courteously assured that a replacement would immediately be sent at no charge, and that there was no need to return the dysfunctional item.Still awaiting the arrival of the replacement, but have now received a bill from you (Sales Invoice SPI006549) for $6.95 for postage!As Hoselink sent a nonfunctioning item in the first place, a customer should not be required to pay for the company's costs in remedying their own problem. Whether the error is due to internal system inefficiency, incompetent or dishonest staff, I have no intention of paying this extra charge, and if you insist that my paying double postage is a condition of my receiving a functional replacement I would prefer a return of the total sum originally paid.”
