“The first water meter that was delivered did not work. I ordered a replacement; Hoselink promptly sent another unit. Still did npt work. I then replaced the battery, it worked. I went back to the original, replaced the battery also worked. What I believe is happening you have stock where the battery has exceeded its shelf life. The product is good it helps regulate my water usuage.”

“The product itself seems to be very good quality and operates as required. I gave 4 star because it arrived with a flat battery. I was unable to get it to work until I found this. I would recommend putting an isolating strip on the battery for storage and transport and add an instruction to the manual.”

“Would not turn on first up, put a new battery in and it works great, its very sensitive to movement, my guess is the battery went flat during shipping/handling, maybe ship with battery uninstalled? cheers Ray.”
