“We purchased the misting kit after being disappointed with a cheaper one we got earlier on. the price of the Hoselink kit is still very reasonable, actually cheap compared to some profesional set-ups. The quality is excellent, the hose is of very high quality and the jets are very efficient and made of brass, so the will last. the mist produced is as good as any mist from a much more expensive product and it work very well with our crappy, low mains-water pressure. (many pro kits require a pump and need to work at high pressure) The timer is a must and one of the few timers in the market that allows for very short time intervals in between sprays, from 30 secs to 24h and excellent range of on times from a few seconds to 60 minutes. We find in a hot day 20 secs every 3 minutes work great. (there is a little bit of dripping when the timer turns the flow off, but it is very little compared to other systems and really... this is the way these things work... even the pro systems. The slight dripping only happens for a few seconds after the system cycles-off, so rather than setting it at say 10 sec spray every 30 sec or minute, it works better to set a 20 to 30 sec spray 3 minutes apart or longer, even a minute every 6 or 7. then you minimise any dripping. But like I said, the dripping is minor and not a problem. Our deck gets full-on sun for most of the day and temps on a 25 degree day (as per the BOM) actually reach 35 here. I did actually measurements and the misting kit drops it from 4 to 8 degrees in 15 to 20 minutes. That makes the difference between enjoying time on the deck instead of having to hide in-doors with the air-con. I would suggest buying the misting kit with the timer as they work together harmoniously. We will most likely get another kit and extend our out-doors rooms great products guys!!!”
“Robust and well protected from the Weather. Easy to set up with the instructions but dont lose them if you want to change the timing in 6 months. Many timing options and could be used for multiple applications. Better made and cheaper than the Holeman which rusted internally and blocked the misters after a years use. Ordering simple and delivered on time.”
“This summer, my potting area was discovered by thirsty bees from three local hives. “Hi, The mist timer is going fine. I have 2 timers in operation. The only thing I found wrong was there was internal corrosion occurred in my previous one. Could you tell me who long the company has been in operation? the reason I ask is am sure I purchase my first hose fittings at least 30 years ago.”
