“I live in WA. We are only permitted to water twice a week before 9 am or after 6 pm. As you have to set the programmer on the day you need it to run, I found it difficult to fit in with my other system. I will try again but it's annoying.
This is the first Hoselink product I've been unhappy with.”
“Purchased 3 of the old style automatic tap timers from Hoselink about 4 years ago. Appears one of the solenoids in the old tap timer stopped working, so I contacted Hoselink for some advice/troubleshooting. Due to being out of warranty they gave me a 25% discount to purchase a new one to replace the old one.
Received the new tap timer and it works great, although I had to turn the rain sensor off, as my sprinklers, when activated, would get turned off as some of the spray would trigger the rain sensor, therefore turn off the sprinklers. Tried to build a little housing in attempt try and protect the rain sensor, but it looks like it didn’t work out too well. Still great value for money and very easy to use.”

“I got this timer because it seemed easy to use, AND I like the rain sensor. The timer was a little confusing to work out the settings, so I rang Hoselink and they explained it to me. Works like a dream, and so good to have watering automated because it is for a non-profit I volunteer for but as I am not there every day, the garden was getting neglected. I really think this is a very good company. The first timer did not fit properly on the tap, plastic to metal, so they replaced it promptly for me. Sadly the same thing occurred again and I had to resort to an extra connector. The connector is also plastic, but much stronger and fits the brass tap perfectly. Also promptly supplied, even with a discount! So appreciative. The only thing I would suggest for Hoselink is to look at the strength of the plastic thread in the timer that goes directly onto the tap - those threads just seem to be easily damaged by the brass thread. Maybe it is just our tap, but hard to believe that. So maybe a quality control check, Hoselink? Very happy overall with this system and this company. Thanks :)”
