“Old analog timer died so time for something better. Looked at units from the usual hardware and garden suppliers but nothing really stood out. They were cheap analog or upper end models with digital screens which don't play well with direct sunlight. Then I had a look at what Hoselink offered.
The single unit ticked all the right boxes. No digital screen, very easy setup, Bluetooth connectivity and a user friendly app.
The Bluetooth works very well even at 23 meters away from inside a steel frame house.
The app gives all the setup options to control duration of time and remaining time, when to operate as in daily or weekly, etc.
Overall very good value for money, works well and am very happy.”
“Works well setup easy but be aware you cannot adjust the manual switched on time unless you do it via the appt. The manual button on the front is set to 10 minutes and cannot be changed”

“This timer works well and is easy to set up using one of several possible apps. The only downside is that you must be within bluetooth range of where the timer is installed. There is a wi-fi gateway available that is supposed to allow you to talk to the timer from anywhere. I haven't been able to get the gateway to work reliably - it keeps disconnecting (see my other review).”
“The tap timer worked great for about two weeks and then it just got stuck totally open and would not turn off no matter what we did. Remove the batteries, left it for awhile and put them back in and it seems to be working now but time will tell.”
