“These secateurs are well made and sharp. They cut quite easily through branches around 1 cm hard wood and through thicker things with a bit of force applied. They reopen easily so that shearing activities are relatively easy. Only gripe is the clip holding them shut which needs quite a bit of persuasion to close fully. While this is better than another (not Hoselink) pair I have that always fall shut when you are pruning (grrr) it does mean a bit of fiddling when you want to close them in the middle of wrestling with herbiage. It is good to be able to do this with one hand and this isn't that easy with these. Otherwise, they are very good at the job and work very smoothly.”
