“Solid construction and the extendable handles makes this a versatile garden tool. The cutting blades and cutting mechanism are of a high quality and of a standard commensurate with Hoselink's reputation.”
“I have an old lopper of similar design but smaller without extension arms made by Spear & Jackson which has given 25 years good service but wanted something a bit bigger for a long time. I was given a bigger lopper as part of a retirement gift a few years ago which bent on first use and broke on second use. I have also used a large ratchet mechanism lopper belonging to a friend which works okay but is fussy and awkward to use. When I spotted the Hoselink Lopper I liked the size, simplicity and apparent reasonable quality at a reasonable price. I have given it two good workouts so far and it has proved exactly the tool I was looking for. I look forward to years of service. To misquote Harry Ferguson; simplicity in engineering is beauty in engineering. I have found Harry to be correct, just about all of his Grey Fergies are still in service.”
“Works very well but is difficult when trying to cut through inner branches as the handles have to be spread very wide and with citrus the prickles can play havoc with unprotected arms. Perfect for the outer branches.”
“The extendable arms of the lopper are fantastic. They give you extra power when cutting larger branches and saves you bending down when you cut things that are on the ground.”
“Hooked on Hoselink, I can't fault these products I now have a lopper ,it is sharp with little effort from me and the lopper is through the branch, frond whatever I am cutting or trimming. It is light so your arms don't tire, keeping me safe and alert.”
“Now this Lopper is a husg improvement on the laste one we had whic had round tubular handle which bent when a bit of force was applied. These have a different shape which gives you a more confident feel when more force is applied .”
