“The first one purchased as a gift for me by my daughter and son-in-law last year, worked extremely well for a few months but then the plastic foot rest snapped off with a particularly large and deep lawn weed root. So I purchased another one to replace this, and I see it has not been reinforced on the plastic foot rest so hope it does not break again. It will be a lifesaver for the back, no bending and straining to pull out those horrid big lawn weeds with the deep tap root.Maybe Hoselink could consider a metal foot rest at the weak spot where the footrest meets the metal handle. It may cost twice as much but like your hoses and hose connectors it will last forever. AS we have now paid double anyway to replace the broken one. However, love Hoselink products.”
