“Without enough installation instructions, I attached the gauge to the side of a fence. It has since been realised that it can`t be very accurate as the fence would block some of the rain. I further noticed with the very recent rain that it depends on whether the rain is falling straight down or falling at an angle. It would not be wise to rely on any readings from the gauge”
