“Well built and attention to detail. Aluminum thickness of pot is on point and safe to hang the basket to drain with an adequate paddle under it. Boil times are crazy fast and heat started to scorch the bottom side of a wooden paddle I had on the pot lid while it boiled. Crawfish were perfectly cooked and firm. Only comment is to maybe order a bigger gate value than the standard one. The 3/4 one works good but the left over crawfish legs at bottom of pot eventually slowed it down a bit. Overall I love this pot so far and will be retiring my old pot that has a few hundred boils on it. From what I have seen so far I think this is a lifetime pot that is thick enough to weld on if you ever need a minor repair.”
“There are very few times that I review products but this deserves one. Usually the expensive version of a product is mostly diminishing returns but not this. My $200 pot burned tons of propane taking over 20 minutes to bring tap water to a boil. This pot actually exceeded the advertised boil times in my experience. When you buy this pot after reading this review, you will notice the quality difference immediately all the way down to the regulator. My only complaint with the product is your leg hair will be gone if you wear shorts!”
