“Quality manufacturing, overall great design. The most surprising quality was just how light the pot is, even with a thick aluminum wall, attached legs and burner shield.
My wife even picked up the pot and moved it for me (and no--I didn't ask her to).
Another great feature is how low the pot sits, bc of this heat wasn't an issue. I was able to stand close to the pot while it was fired up without burning my legs, you can feel the heat but it's not like all the other pots where you need pants or a shield.
But the best features were 1) how quickly the water came to a boil....about 6 minutes with 8 1/2gallons of water 2) I had the propane tank slightly opened and the regulator was at about 1/2 to 3/4 open so I used minimal gas.
Being able to boil so quickly will allow you to time things much better, and have a more reproducible boil.
Also The regulator is high-quality with a long hose so the propane tank doesn't have to sit close to the pot.
Would highly recommend, this thing will last a lifetime
Also Get the Cajun halo over the BoilBoss bc it sits higher on the pot and cools the whole pot as opposed to half. So you wont burn yourself on the top by accident.”
