“I purchased the 120qt pot a few months ago but only just started using it over the past couple of weeks. Out of the box, the pot seemed a little misshapen which I originally thought might have been slight damage during shipping. Upon closer inspection after my second boil, I noticed that the pot wall thickness varied and not 4mm thick as advertised. One 6-8 inch section, located near one of the handles where there pot should be its strongest, was less than 2.5mm thick as seen in the attached pictures.
Most of my boils are at least 2 sacks which is why I upgraded to a pot this size. 2 sacks (~70+ lbs) boiled very quickly which was everything I expected...until I needed to remove the crawfish with the basket. The aluminum handle on the basket bent so badly that it allowed the sides of the basket to bend inward a few inches in each side. When I put the basket back in the pot, the lid would no longer sit correctly on top of the pot.
The performance exceeded expectations but the quality of the product definitely didn't live up to its premium price.
Lastly, fix the mobile version of this site so that the "Rewards" button doesn't block access to the "Done" button when uploading pictures. I would've given up on writing this review multiple times had it not been important to get this information out to other potential customers.”

JB I would like to talk to you for all your concerns, so if you can call me at 985-260-1505 I can address them all. But until then I will try here briefly.
The pots are built in Central America, we just switched to them from China starting this past January. During the switchover they did use an incorrect size for our basket thickness which is why you are having the issue. We will be replacing these baskets for any customer that experiences the issues you reported. I can add you to the list once you contact me with your name and email address. Please email me at ***@***.*** and we will be contacting you to ship out your replacement basket once we receive them, eta mid July.
As far as the thickness of the pot, that is typical. The blank that is used to make the pot is 100% 4mm as we have to have them that thick or otherwise our welding to the bottoms would blow thru the bottom. We manufactures make pot the blanks are spun over a machine called a lathe, then they are stretched to form the pot. This is a manual operations that sometimes produces slightly different measurements in the walls of the pot, but the bottom where the heat hits is all 4mm as the machine does not touch that part except for polishing. However, overall the pot is still twice as thick as the vast majority of pots on the market, and still will perform and last as though it was 4mm everywhere. We will stand by it with our warranty.
Lastly, as far as being able to fix the Rewards button for mobile, unfortunately that is an app that we installed and have no control over the correcting the issue. However, I will be reporting the issue to the developer to see if they can fix it. (UPDATE 11am 5/15/23 - I was able to reconfigure the application so now when customer is uploading photos/videos you can see the DONE button properly when using a mobile phone)
