Holy Cow! This thing boils a 1/2 pot of water in a hurry! Conversely, you can turn it down really low to simmer items that could scorch or burn (Brunswick stew). Very nice design.

Best deep fryer I’ve had. Heats the oil super fast and here in the northeast during the dead of winter will get to temp and hold in the worst of days. Wish it was slightly taller to account for the size of the oil containers but easy enough to put on a table to drain. Overall outstanding quality and absolutely the best deep fryer I’ve ever owned.

I purchased a 120 quart Seafood Boiler and absolutely loved everything about it. After three Crawfish boils I can say it renders every other pot obsolete. Sadly, when I purchased the 40 quart pot for smaller boils and frying I was disappointed to see that the basket is very undersized for the pot both in height and width. Basket does not match the pot. After the purchase I reviewed the pictures and video on hpcookers.com and they showed an undersized basket as well. IMO they should have matched the basket to the pot before marketing it.

Sorry, this too was done intentionally, as we sell a steamer basket riser, so that you can steam in the pot as well. This riser raises up the basket, so that you can put 2 inches of water in the pot. However, starting October 2024 the baskets will go back to being full fitting, as we now have a steamer shelf that goes in the bottom of the basket so that whatever you steam will be raised of the bottom. Best of everything now. Also, the steamer shelf will come included in the new units.,Management, clientresponse
