“When it was delivered, there was a small hole in the side of the box...and something told me that hole would keep me from using my fryer that weekend. Sure enough, the propane connection had been destroyed by the delivery company. I documented with pics, emailed HPC and the next day they dropped shipped a new burner and return shipping to me. I fired this cooker up last night in 30-40 wind gusts (used the wind shield I ordered) and this cooker is just incredible. Holds the temp well, does a great job of cooking evenly and between the basket and mesh skimmer I bought, we made some incredible chicken, hush puppies and fries. Will be buying the small units so that I can do smaller batches on the fly. Very well built product, and the customer service has been outstanding.”
“I’ve been watching this setup an going back n forth on the purchase so after vacation I didn’t spend a lot on vacation so I counted up my $$$ an bought the whole setup. I washed it and boiled water to test drive the heating of the pot which didn’t take long. But tomorrow is Thanksgiving day and I’m frying 3 turkeys, so looking forward to seeing how it’s going to go. But so far anxious to see. I built a wind guard to control the wind from blowing my fire”
“I like the cooker..it is heavy duty, heats very quickly and does the job. Only issue...it comes with absolutely no instructions...that would have been nice as this is my first cooker and I had to figure out how to use it..no max fill line..still worked well”
