“Love this product! The resin is in great shape for the dugout and it's a nice touch for the one hitter, but there is a slight problem lol. I might let it get to hot but the metal piece softens the resin around the one hitter and it fell off in my lap. It went back to shape and rehardened but it is something to be cautious of. The one-hitter is replaceable though. It matches perfectly, just gotta be careful.”
“I've been using the wood ones year years, and I decided to try the acrylic ones.
Not happy at all.
The corners are all very sharp, the flower chamber was not milled correctly and has tool marks deeper on one side causing flower to always get stuck in the "cavity", and the spring doesn't stay in the dugout, and falls out constantly. The acrylic one is also much heavier than the wood dugouts.
Still with the original wood.”
“Box is my number one go to but the acrylic hitter pipe swells and becomes deformed from the heat. The end of mine is now at a 45 degree offset. Still works but is annoying”
“Wonderful appearance, sturdy and convenient. Perfect when you need to quickly stabilize on the go. Just don't keep it heated for too long when you use it. The removable tip of the hitter will start melting the threads of the acrylic hitter. Unscrew it every so often and clean it out as resin will build up in the threads.
Nice strong magnet as well.”
