“Read many reviews on “Best Grinders” and this one was highly rated on a few sites. The grinder looks amazing and very well made, however, upon rigorous testing this grinder failed compared to less expensive ones on Amazon. This grinder just doesn’t grind well out the box. I’ve used many different strains of flower and the outcome is all the same. The flower gets clumped up while grinding and isn’t as fluffy as my other grinders no matter what strain I grind. The only thing I like about this is the “fine” setting for my Storz & Bickel Venty. I’m waiting on 2 other grinders, Hoj Klip and Brilliant Cut Grinders, we will see how they compare to this grinder. If you do choose to purchase this grinder I suggest buying their “second offs” for a discount. Dont pay full price on this.”
“The GR8TR is pretty nice. It is built, and made, very well and looks good. The grinder is easy to use and generally does a pretty good job, as designed. It makes breaking up the Flower easy and not as time consuming as doing by hand. The only issue I have is the size of the cut. It is smaller than when it is a flower but that is about it. The finished cut is still large, even with the fine cutter/grinder. I prefer a smaller grind, and I get it after I breakdown the finished grind, by hand. The screen in the grinder is a waste, it provides no function.
Is it worth the money? I say yes and no. Yes because it saves you some time. No because you/I still need to break the weed grind down further, I use a Solopipe Elecktra and find it works better with a finer grind then what this grinder provides. Would I buy another one? Yes, but only they made improvements. No if it is left as is without grinder improvements.”
“When my package finally arrived after a month of dealing with customer service to even find my package and get it sent to me. My grinder was covered in finger prints and looked like it had been kicked across a shop floor. Dings in the metal and dust all over. When I asked for a refund they wanted to "make it right" and sent a replacement o opted for a refund and have yet to receive one. Do not buy anything from this place they will take your money and run.”
“Pretty much perfect, as long as you don’t put any roach in it. If you use this grinder for roach, you will have to clean it out often with a metal tool, because the roach will build up into a hash-like substance that makes the grind harder. I have two of these, and the one that i only put new herb in never needs cleaned.
Fine grinder is not as useful as i thought it’d be because it gets clogged up pretty easy even with fresh herb, but I use it as a way to know which is which without having to open it. I took out the fine grinder on my fresh herb one and left it on my roach one, making it slightly taller.”
“The grinder came PRE-owned based off the scratches and marks around it. Also was making loud squeaky noises off the very first use. Contacted customer support was getting 2 new grinders because BOTH had issues never got a follow up email never got my replacement grinders or on my 2nd purchase or the warranty claim on the grinders waited a whole week NOTHING! Wont be buying again STAY AWAY FOLKS!”
