“These are pretty delicate. If you try to use these in a dugout, the wooden threads will quickly strip. They are however perfect for sitting in an ashtray, on a rolling tray, or next to a grinder. Cleaning them is pretty quick and easy too.”

“It was not exactly what I expected. I assumed the mouthpiece would be anchored to the body and twisting it would push out the tip. It actually functions more like one of the spring one hitters, but without the spring. You twist the mouthpiece out, push it in to pop out the ash, and then twist the mouthpiece back.
Though I have concern about how long it may or may not take the screw mechanism to strip itself, I would still recommend it.”
“I bought multiple of these because I liked my previous one so much. What a disappointment this time around. Poor quality and all the parts don’t tighten up.”
“These things are a wonder. When you can't tap out you just push out the ash. The feel of the wood is so much better than the cold metal. Great little innovation for the casual on the go tokers.”
“I use one hitters daily. My previous daily driver was a Bad Ash one hitter, cherry wood with a brass fixed pipe and bowl. I didn't think I'd like this one hitter as much because it felt light (maple and aluminum) and the wide pitch of the screw prevents it from screwing very tightly. The screw pitch along with how the "filter" end dangles and hangs made it feel flimsy at first. But I noticed it had a considerably larger bowl than my old hitter which was becoming constantly caked with resin and required cleaning more often. The ejection action, bigger bowl, simplicity of design made me a convert. Easier to clean too! I would love one of these in a steel (or titanium??) both for weight/heft and better cooling, I assume brass would be too soft.”
