“Although generally pleased with the bed and mattresses, we felt that the the way that the side bars are attached to the head/foot boards is not a good design and actually quite weak. There are 2 short screws at each end of the side bars attaching the parts together, and no other bracing or stabilising. This means there is actually a degree of play and the bed rocks a little from end to end. We have remedied this by having one end against a wall, and the other agaist a trunk.It is fine for occasional use but if it was being used full-time or by children, we think that this joint would soon break. It is not what we were expecting from a bed at this price. The mattresses are good though, and so is the genaral look of the bed, but compromised by poor design.”
