“Easy to use, but one must remember to delete the previous transmitter from blueooth on the iPhone before setting up the next one. As a suggestion, Lifeline may also want to consider making available on the website an adhesive remover wipe which eases the discomfort of removing the transmitter - I use the Smith & Nephew REMOVE, which contains aloe and this also reduces irritation of the skin on removal. I let it soak in for few minutes before removal, and then I clean the area thoroughly with alcohol afterwards, before installing the next transmitter. I've found it to be very helpful.”
“As a heads up, it must be known up front that the G7 is not 100% in line in line with the finger stick method, but that they measure different things to provide a reading. This must be understood from the begiining. Also it must be understood that placement of the sensor is not only a personal choice but can also cause variations in the readings, so a bit of placement testing with thee first few is necessary. That said, I have found that the Dexcom G7 readings have awakened me to both my good and bad habits, and alloewed me to take MUCH better care of myself while living with type 2 diabetes.”
