Also, the edges with the new lighting in my kitchen look dirty - not distressed. On looking at it, a visitor asked "Can they be washed?" I know she was wondering why I didn't scrub the edges. I am keeping the rug because the design is handsome. But buyer beware, this does not have a crisp look.”
