I like my Hugggaroo 20 very much. It definitely makes a much better nights sleep. I was hoping that I would be able to get off my sleeping pill which makes me dizzy but no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks, Harvey Williams

I bought this for my son who lost his spouse this year. He absolutely loves the warmth, weight & softness of it. He believes it also helps when he has periods of grief. Thank you so much.

Best weighted blanket on the market. It came with a duvet cover so I didn't have to try and done one. Both of my children have had great night sleeps since getting them.

Feeling Hugged

I recently started using weighted blankets to help with anxiety and sensory input needs. Huggaroo weighted blankets help during the day for sensory breaks and are an amazing sleep aid as well. They help relieve body tension and stress seems to just melt away allowing me to relax and sleep better. Another plus is the lack of aches when I wake up in the morning. This Huggaroo blanket is so soft and soothing! I love the calming blue, the soothing feel of the cover and the way the glass beads stay evenly distributed. A beautiful weighted blanket. This blanket provides evenly balanced weight and pressure across the body and really helps you feel calm, relaxed and helps you to fall asleep. This blanket helps my body relax and get the deep pressure my body craves. I also use the 15 pound Huggaroo blanket which has a different cover and plastic beads. I love them both for different reasons. This 20 pound blanket has glass beads which seem to be quieter and give a different pressure distribution than the plastic beads. Both are great for different reasons. It also has a super soft cover that is amazing. I use 3 Huggaroo blankets throughout the day and the larger at night for different sensory input. The 15 pound adult blanket has a different cover material which has minky dots on one side. Both blankets feel great and provide calming sensory input. Combined with the Huggaroo body pillow, you can create a cocoon type environment to help calm anxiety and sensory overload. Huggaroo blankets do not feel overly “heavy” on and mold to the contours of the body - and amazingly they are not hot! I have 3 Huggaroo blankets - the 20 pound, 15 pound and the 6 pound lap blanket. (As well as the awesome Huggaroo weighted/scented neck wrap). Both of the larger blankets fit perfectly on a full/queen size bed. This blanket comes in a really nice bag, which is great for storage and good for transporting the blanket if you want to take it with you. Blanket covers wash well and are easy to put on. I can't say enough good things about Huggaroo products. So grateful to a wonderful company and the high quality products they provide.

The blanket comes folded up in a plastic bag and the chenille cover is folded up in there separately. There was no smell. You will need to unzip the cover, put the weighted blanket inside the chenille cover, and tie the blanket to the cover by threading the ties on the blanket through the loops on the cover. That took me about 10 minutes alone but would have been much easier with another set of hands. After zipping the cover back, your blanket will be ready for snuggling! The cover is a beautiful royal blue and it is very soft. The blanket is grey and made of small squares of fabric containing the weight. The squares in the center of the blanket contain more weight than the squares on the edges of the blanket so most of the weight is concentrated toward the center of the blanket. It is heavy enough to require effort to pull it up to your chin but not so heavy that I feel restrained or trapped by it. I was concerned that I would feel too hot under any blanket but especially a 20 pound blanket but the fabric is very cool so I have not gotten any hotter than I did with my regular comforter and it is easy to just flip it over to one side until I get cold again. It is also easy to just slip my feet out if they need to breathe. The blanket is big enough for one person but the first few nights, we tried to share it. It wasn't quite big enough for that. I usually get up 1-2 times each night but have found that I am not getting up every night and when I do, it has only been once! I have found it helpful to straighten the blanket out each morning, pull the corners tight and then flip the top to the bottom. This helps keep the weight spread out.

I was concerned that the added weight of this blanket would make me hot overnight but, I have been sleeping solidly and have NOT been hot at all. And, the duvet is oh so soft.

Love this! I've been sleeping so well with my weighted blanket. Wish I'd have ordered this years ago!
